Do you sell prefabricated horse stalls or horse stall kits?

No. Blackwood Equestrian Stalls are 100% custom made to suit the unique needs and preferences of you and your horses.

Can you retrofit new horse stalls in my existing barn?

Absolutely! We can work within your existing barn or build custom horse stalls for a new barn. Our 20-plus years of experience have given us plenty of expertise in both types of projects.

How often should I replace my horse stalls?

Horse stalls should be inspected often for any signs of wear or damage that could create an unsafe situation for your horses. Typically, customers replace their horse stalls every 15 to 20 years.

Does Blackwood install my finished equestrian products?

We do not handle installation. Typically, it is more efficient and cost effective for a local contractor to install your Blackwood products.

How much do custom horse stalls cost? Can I request a quote?

Because each project is custom designed, pricing varies. To discuss your project and get a quote, visit our Get Started page.

I like very modern design. Will your products suit my property?

We design horse stalls, barn doors, and entrance gates to suit any style — whether that’s ornate or sleek, traditional or modern. We’ll look at your property, discuss your preferences, and create products perfectly suited to both.

Where are your products manufactured?

Blackwood Equestrian Stalls is American owned and operated. Our products are crafted here in the United States, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

What are the finish options?

Blackwood offers a high-quality powder coat finish option. This offers a durable, non-flake coating on your horse stalls. The customizability is endless when it comes to selecting a color or sheen. The sheen options are similar to paint, offering satin, matte, semi-gloss, and full-gloss options. Paired with the number 1 weld finish that comes standard with all our products, this gives your entire horse stall a seamless finish with virtually invisible welds.
